Roadcover intends for roadcover.us to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology.
Our target
This site is built against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Specific measures taken in the current build include:
- A skip-to-content link as the first focusable element on every page.
- A visible amber focus ring on every interactive element, never removed.
- Semantic landmarks, headings in order, and labelled form controls.
- Form errors announced in context and written to name the fix, not just the failure.
- Colour contrast meeting AA for body text, headings and interface text.
- Full keyboard operability, including the multi-step request form and its comboboxes.
- Motion limited to a single page-load sequence and to responses to user actions, all disabled under prefers-reduced-motion.
Known limitations
PLACEHOLDER — this section must list any known conformance gaps once an independent audit has been completed. A conformance claim should not be published before that audit.
